Frequently Asked Questions
I don't understand what the 'Other' TAB does?
The 'other' tab allows you to observe another behavior during the observation if you would like. If you observed behaviors under the 'other' tab, you are able to add a title to that tab before exporting the results. If you did not add information to the other 'other' tab, you are able to export results without the title.

You can upload the CSV file to various programs including excel, google drive, or numbers for mac. If it is opening to Microsoft Excel, but you want it to open to Numbers for Mac, you can double click the icon -> open with - > numbers. See image below.
Can you explain to me the dice and the random student?
Here is a video I made to help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04iK-GL0Hro
First you count the number of students in the classroom. Lets say there are 25. You input that number in the box that states "number of possible random peers". Then you tap the dice. The number that generates (ex. 11) is saying that the student you should observe as the random peer is student 11. To identify who student 11 is, start counting from from the student closest to you on the right side (1, 2, 3, 4....) stop at student 11. That will be the random peer you observe.
